The Guilds are self-sustaining networks of professionals who seek to advance the thinking and practice of their respective fields.

The Government Guild reflects primarily on the nature of government, the systems underpinning Europe’s liberal democracies, and on the ways in which government might actually foster and protect true human flourishing.

Some of the questions the Guild asks are:

  • How does the Judeo-Christian heritage of Europe currently still influence its democratic structures?
  • How does immigration into the European Union influence the perception of the neighbour?
  • How can the much-needed trust in Europe’s democratic structures be defended, enhanced, and supported?
