 ‘Advent Lecture Series’ (on Zoom)

The Person of Christ is the centre of the Christian faith. In him, God came as close to humanity as is possible: he became one of us, without ceasing to be the Eternal One. In this lecture series, Dr Jasper Knecht will survey how the Church of the ages has reflected on the momentous event of this union, on the Incarnation. This series will be delivered in three parts, each with a specific focus: Christ’s humanity and divinity, his unity, and the theological significance of Christ’s Christmas coming for our understanding of and existence in the world at large. Each session will contain a lecture and (moderated) Q&A.

  • Our three dates: Thursday 4 December, 11 December, and 18 December
  • Time: 19:30 – 20:15 (Central European Time – please check your time zone!)
  • Where: Online, via Zoom. Please register via events@qvi.eu to receive the link.

See you in December.
