Above the Cross Glows a Light

Easter is the feast standing against the return of evil.

Along with all the proper and humane in our culture, one can always find the immodest, inhumane. Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor and Founder of Logotherapy, has seen this truth represented throughout all nations, religions, and parties. Many immoral people are in power, influencing the world with their immoral thoughts. As when Jesus was tortured and killed on the cross, we might want to join his the Disciples who saw all their hopes destroyed. Like them, we might also want to retreat from life, when confronted with evil. We need to face Good Friday, however, accept the challenge, and invest every effort we can to make the cross glow within our daily lives.
